2017 Nashville Meets
London Music Festival
Two-day
festival hosts stellar lineup and packed out crowds
(Nashville, Tenn. – July 27, 2017)
London’s largest free Country Music Festival, Nashville Meets London, took place
this past weekend, July 22-23, in Canada Square Park and drew thousands of
festival goers to the Canary Wharf estate.
This year’s talent lineup featured US-based
acts Russell Dickerson, Lucie Silvas, Ashley Campbell, Sam Outlaw, Angaleena Presley, and Jo Smith, alongside UK-based acts Flats & Sharps, Wildwood Kin, Kevin McGuire, and Raintown.
Nashville Meets London is on its way to becoming a firm fixture in London’s music calendar. Each year, the event features established and exciting new talent from the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee and the UK, and continues to grow in attendance.
Nashville Meets London co-producer and AristoMedia’s President of Marketing and
International Relations, Matt Watkins commented, “The UK Country scene is
alive. It’s obvious that fans are willing to do what it takes to hear the music
in London, including standing in the pouring rain ALL day on Saturday.
It's a great feeling to have a platform that introduces Nashville's emerging
talent into the marketplace to perform alongside UK talent, providing an
opportunity that helps increase the artist’s fan base there.”

Country music, and opportunities are building there for artists. This was
