Radio Waves: Radio Presenter Spotlight – Joe Singleton

Red Rose Country
with Joe Singleton

ABOUT Red Rose Country
Host Joe Singleton:
From: Skelmersdale (a town in West Lancashire, UK; 6 miles west of Wigan, 13 miles northeast of Liverpool)

A few years ago Joe started a weekly Blues show (Big Blues Bonanza) and some of his friends and family expressed a desire to hear some country music. Joe grew up listening to Country music and had always been a fan so hence Red Rose Country was born!

He started publishing the shows on Mixcloud and since then a local hospital radio picked it up.
In his broad and friendly Lancastrian accent Joe offers the listener both a friendly voice and an engaging show
He welcomes comments, requests from the listeners and hopes to make friends with loyal and likeminded country fans.

CONTACT: Send Joe your feedback on the shows and if you’re an artist please contact him by email at

Show Format: The programme plays a mix of both new and classic tracks from around the world. With some of the latest releases from America, the UK and Europe.
Given that the quality of the material is met Joe endeavours to give a new artist a helping hand with airplay, encouraging listeners to seek out their music.
A new feature introduced is the fun Guess The Year in which news, sport and entertainment facts are relayed from a year in British history with music sourced from that period whereby dear listener has to use his/her grey matter to work out the year in question!
In the second hour is a segment from the Pink Cowgirl, who is Jersey, Channel Islands based singer-songwriter Dina Andrews -  I Love country music and live on the Island Of Jersey. Life is too short, live for every moment!

As an artiste in her own right she can share her love of the genre picking out a selection of tracks (often themed) and offers an insight into her collaborations with other acts. She recently recorded some songs in Nashville and played live in the honky tonks.
She was invited to attend the 2017 Country To Country (C2C) Festival Press Conferences in London and was the first person to ask superstar Brad Paisley a question! – See Blog

The show, two hours duration has been syndicated to other radio stations.
