It is an upbeat track, that will have you singing the chorus for days.
Run With The Night was written by Paul and Claire Bain (RAINTOWN) and will be released on Friday 6th April in advance of a six date tour of the UK – with a further 3 dates in June (information below.)

"I absolutely love that" - Kerri Watt Pulse98.4
Great Country music” - The GhostRider C&W Country Music Show.
An absolutely brilliant song…a great great song we’ll watch that climb way up the chart” - Jim Duncan WCRfm 101.8 FM (Wolverhampton Community Radio "The station with a lot more for Wolverhampton")

Airplay from Chris Country Radio “The UKs Country Station”

Paul said, “Myself and Claire got talking about taking chances one night and whether in uncertain times are people more or less inclined to take a leap of faith, see dreams through to fruition or is everything disposable. Somewhere in there the phrase, you have to just run with the night was used and an idea was born.”.

In this phone interview listen to Raintown’s front man Paul Bain talk to Jim Duncan on WCRfm 101.8 FM (Wolverhampton Community Radio "The station with a lot more for Wolverhampton") about the duos experience in the writing, creative process, recording and sponsorship of Run With The Night and about their forthcoming tour dates. It was first broadcast on Thursday April 5, 2018.

16 awards in 5 years and two critically acclaimed albums, Raintown deliver a startling take on UK contemporary country that is both firmly-rooted and unashamedly forward-thinking. Their intensely charismatic live performances are imbued with a spirit and energy that that continues to cement their place as one of the UK’s leading new breed of country acts.

RUN WITH THE NIGHT shows an impressive development for this songwriting couple who have fused their passion for country music with their eclectic musical influences and continue the tradition of exciting new music to emerge from Glasgow. Claire explained, “We are parents now – a 17month old baby girl called Alba-Rose – and it definitely changes your perspective of the world and certainly gives you new material as songwriters.
Paul further commented, “Through a large dose of serendipity we had a chance to sit down and have a coffee with John (McLaughlin.) His passion for song writing and production in unabated and infectious – we are grateful for the opportunity to work with him.

This sensational new single will continue to elevate this impressive duo to new heights and further underline their place in the burgeoning UK Country scene. Raintown would like to thank ‘Mutch Better Foods Ltd’ (Robbie Mutch CEO Food Delivery Service of Mutch Better Foods Limited, Achorn House, 34 Millbank Road, Munlochy Ross-Shire IV8 8ND) who have sponsored this single.

Run With The Night was recorded in Glasgow at the Audio Lounge (Website) with Raintown’s regular band, Stevie Lawrence (Acoustic/Bauzuki), Scott MacPherson (Bass), John Alexander (Drums) and John Mather (Lead Guitar) - Produced by John McLaughlin, Vocals by Gordy Goudie and Mixed and Mastered in NYC by Dave Thomas Jnr. A “Really great team” shares Paul.

At the 2016 UKCountryRadio.com 9th Birthday Party and Awards Raintown won Album of the Year for WRITING ON THE WALL.
The album was produced by Justin Johnson (BCMA Award 2015 & 2016 Nominee) at Parr Street Recording in Liverpool.
The project was successfully funded using the Pledge Music platform (116% of target goal raised, by 418 Pledgers.

Chris Smith from Country Music People granted them a glowing 5 STAR Review in the publication:
Chris Smith (Country Music People 5 STARS) ...the whole package is slick, unpretentious and very professionally delivered – 10 words that also describe this album . Living The Same Old Song which in my book is an absolute winner. To be honest none of the tracks are there simply to make the numbers. Every single one has something remarkable about it….Justin Johnstone has managed to capture superb vocal performances from both Paul & Claire and listening to this on a quality sound system you really appreciate the nuances in Billy Decker’s excellent mix.

At the 2016 British Country Music Awards Raintown snagged six nominations one for being Entertainer Of The Year (which they won in 2014) and in Group, Female, Album, Song and Video categories. In 2015 Raintown (officially a named duo Paul Bain & Claire McArthur-Bain) scooped the Group of the Year award, Claire won Female Vocalist in 2014, and in 2013 they bagged BCMA Duo of the Year.

Raintown scooped the UK Country Duo Of The Year at the 2017 UK Country Music Awards sponsored by UKCountryRadio.com (playing the Hottest Country Music In The UK).

In 2017 Raintown performed at the Nashville Meets London Country Music Festival for a second time in Canada Square and they are the only worldwide act to play all 5 C2C Country To Country Festivals 2013-2017 (4 times in London & once in Glasgow)

Go and see one of their dynamic live performances and get on the Raintown bandwagon because the best is yet to come” – Chris Smith Country Music People

It is very, very good.” Bob Harris – BBC Radio 2 (Playlist 3rd Dec 2015 playing “If This Was A Love Song”)
