Shot Glasses and Bullet Holes is a soulful ballad that speaks to the emotions we all grapple with when suffering a loss – whether of a loved one, a relationship, or failures brought on by our own bad judgement - and our own way of working through the pain.
Stephen Martines’
heartbreaking new single, "Shot Glasses & Bullet Holes"
(and fourth radio release) is an aching reflection of self-isolation and
loneliness. Co-written by Brandon Ray ("Ends of the Earth,"
"Small Talkin'") and Bart Butler (Thomas Rhett's "Make Me
Wanna"; Jon Pardi, Dierks Bentley, Clay Walker), the song is an emotional bullet
that pierces the heart of anyone that has ever experienced earth-shattering
sadness.

up and knock ‘em down…
It’s what I
do when I don’t know how to lose somethin’ that I can’t get back
You can feel Martines' personal experience peek through, a man once battered and bruised by the loss of his father and a lonely childhood emerges throughout the beautiful melody and burgeoning arrangement, making for a triumphantly heartfelt journey.

the heels of his powerful Sounds Like Whiskey (released this
summer), Stephen is in the studio recording songs for his debut album and
actively performing – most notably of late at the Country Smooth Fest in
New Orleans alongside Hunter Hayes, Tyler Farr, Granger Smith
and Joe Nichols, following high-energy sets in Nashville this past summer at
the 2018 CMA Fan Festival in Nashville. A
spring/summer tour schedule is currently in the works.
