CMA Songwriters Series, indigo at
The O2, London live review (Rating: 4.5/ 5 by Laura Cooney) Great chemistry between all five performers,
Laura Veltz's showstopping version of Live Forever, Travis Denning's humour and
guitar playing
Extract: All the previous CMA
Songwriters Series events I’ve been to have been excellent, and last night’s
was no exception. The two and a half hours running time flew by, and the show
was full of surprises and fantastic performances – particularly from Laura Veltz
and Cam – and saw the birth of a new star in Travis Denning (who I suspect will
now be one of the must-sees of the festival). The five performers also seemed
to genuinely like spending time in each other’s company and it felt like
eavesdropping on a group of old friends – the kind of people you’d want to go
for a drink with afterwards, as Travis kept suggesting everyone did. At the
start of the show, Cam described it as ‘the best night of C2C’, and it’s
certainly set a high bar for the rest of the weekend…Read More

Keith Urban, O2 Forum Kentish Town, London live review
Entertainment Focus (Rating: 5 STARS by Pip Ellwood-Hughes) .. Elsewhere
in the set support act Kerri Watt joined Urban for a rendition of The Fighter,
which saw Urban move into the audience during the song’s second half where he
stayed for a medley of hits and to give a fan his guitar (yes really). The
triple punch of Gone Tomorrow (Here Today), John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,
and Wasted Time from Ripcord caused the audience to erupt into a party and
paved the way for the encore. …Returning to the stage to screams and cheering,
Urban launched into a passionate acoustic rendition of You’ll Think of Me
before ending the night with Horses. It was a high-energy end to a very
high-energy show and Urban thanked the crowd for their rapturous reception. I
did wish that the area I was stood had been a little more respectful as there
was a level of chatter that wasn’t really suited to a Country gig….Urban’s
London return was a triumph. It got those of us going to C2C this weekend very
excited about seeing him again, and it reminded everyone why Urban is one of
the most-loved musicians in Country music. He and his band were incredibly
tight and they didn’t miss a beat all night…..Read More

Nashville - Twinnie – Better When I’m Drunk – EP Review
Check it out here
(signed copies available) https://Twinnie.lnk.to/BetterWhenFA
Named by Rolling Stone as one of the stand-out acts at the
2018 Country2Country festival and in Billboard's Hotly Tipped 'Ones To Watch
for 2019, recent BMG signee and rising UK star Twinnie released her “glorious
debut EP” March 1st.
Showcasing what a powerhouse talent Twinnie is, lead track 'Better
When I'm Drunk' is described as an honest, fun, country fuelled ride
with kickass vocals that she describes as "showing the humour and the
truth in what people actually feel on
a night out vs the morning after." 'Type of Girl'
displays Twinnie's impeccable vocal range at its best, whilst perfectly balancing
old school country with a new, pop edge, while the emotional ballad,
'Superhero' shows a different side to
Twinnie. "I guess love has no place for superheroes" - the melancholy
and feeling evident in Twinnie's beautiful voice.
