Nashville, TN — May 13, 2019 — Capacity crowds
in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham went crazy for multi-platinum
entertainer Chris Young last week during the launch of his “Raised On Country
World Tour 2019.” “Chris Young walked out and the crowd went wild,”
declared The Writers Room of his Manchester Academy play, the RCA Records Nashville artist’s first
headlining show in the city. He closed his UK headlining dates at London’s Eventim Apollo and “it was one hell of a raucous night,” (Entertainment Focus), leading Chris to share to
share to Instagram “I cannot
tell everyone in the UK how much I love them….This past week thousands of
people in a different country have sung my music back at me louder than I was
singing it through PA...I’m humbled. I’m honored.” His fourth UK tour in six years,
Chris stacked the set with fan favorites from among his eleven No. 1 singles,
including “Hangin’ On” and “Think Of You” in addition to his latest hit,
“Raised On Country,” and never-before-heard songs from his upcoming 8th studio
album.
The shows at Manchester Academy, Glasgow’s O2 Academy, Birmingham’s O2 Academy and London’s Eventim Apollo (tickets were sold off cheap 53-56% off, £13.75-£15.75 via Groupon) being kicked-off his “Raised On Country World Tour 2019,” leading into this week’s North American tour launch.

handling the crowd with casual and skilful ease. Raising a laugh with his stories
and self deprecating manner, you really feel like he is the ringmaster of the
show and it goes 100% in the direction that he wants you to go. His vocals are
strong, rich and powerful, whether it’s on a rockier number or on a ballad, and
the setlist was carefully balanced in order to provide the ideal mix of the
