Gable Bradley Releases Duet With Brooke Lee

(Nashville, Tennessee…) – March 7, 2025 -- What started as a simple writing session between Gable Bradley, Brooke Lee, and Mike Fiorentino three months ago captured such a magic spark that both artists raced into the studio at the top of the year to deliver “Silk and Sandpaper” as their first feature duet of their budding careers.
The moving song is available on Airfoil Music, Inc. via The Orchard. Stream the new release HERE

“I’ve known Brooke and been a fan forever…we feel like we’re living the same chase and run in the same circles - just two dreamers chasing this thing,” said Gable. “When Mikey (Fiorentino), Brooke and I got in the room to write, I wasn’t sure where the day would take us but I could tell right away Brooke had an agenda that we were there to write a duet for us. We definitely captured the magic.”
“’Silk And Sandpaper’ is about being drawn back into a relationship that isn’t what you hoped it would be,” added Brooke. “It’s about two crazy foolish lovers who lie to themselves because they can’t live without one another. It depicts the action of picking the devil you know over the one you don’t. What’s one more night going to do?”

The journeys of Gable and Brooke are quite similar. Gable showed up in Nashville in a beat up truck with a duffel bag and a dream. Brooke began playing in bands at 15 and the day she turned 21, headed to Nashville to pursue music. Gable’s Lawless EP and follow up singles “Bottle and a B-Side” and “Die Young” and Brooke’s “Call Me Pretty,” “Motel Livin’” and other releases have garnered both millions of streams and dedicated monthly listeners.

About Gable Bradley
Gable Bradley grew up in a family that many would consider outsiders. On one side, you had the Bradley’s who were working people that rode motorcycles and would cause an occasional dustup on the weekends. On the other side, the Vance's were entertainment people, itinerant carneys who traveled from place to place. Or as Ray Wylie Hubbard so succinctly put it, "night people taking money from the day people.” Gable grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where salacious tales abound for generations of colorful characters like mafioso’s and professional athletes taking rest and relaxation at the local spas. That he would take his own restless, lawless spirit on the road to entertain people seems almost inevitable.
He grew up around both country and rock music – his grandmother’s carnival featured a young Johnny Cash back in the day, while he remembers being excited by Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC coming out of the speakers of his dad’s and uncles’ muscle cars. In an industry that often wants artists to conform to a specific genre’s creative norms, Gable has always tried to synthesize the traditions of the two branches of his family tree. That he is not the umpteenth iteration of some artist that was successful a few years back has meant that the major label world has not known exactly what to do with him, despite being interested enough to buy him enough lunches to feed half of Hot Springs.

About Brooke Lee
Brooke Lee was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and began playing in bands at the age of fifteen. The day she turned twenty-one, Brooke packed her bags for Nashville to pursue a career in country music. Since arriving in Nashville, she has been honing her craft in songwriting rooms with Spirit Music Publishing and expanding her experience performing on the road with artists such as Willie Nelson, Gavin DeGraw, and Wade Bowen. Through songs like “Kill Me with Tequila” (feat. Ryan Beaver) and “Motel Livin’” (both produced by Derek Wells), Brooke showcases her songwriting abilities and artistic range. “Anything I write and sing about is something I can relate to. I’ve always been intentional with my words and lyrics. We all have a story to tell, and I want everyone to hear mine through my songs,” says Lee.
