The Welcome To
The Holler Tour will be bringing the best of Appalachian and Red Dirt
country music to fans across the pond, the title combining 49 Winchester’s
latest full-album release LEAVIN’ THIS HOLLER with Wyatt
Flores’ newest release WELCOME TO THE PLAINS.
"The UK and Europe
have become such an incredible place for us to tour” says lead singer Isaac Gibson. “The fans are fantastic,
they are so endearing, and they truly have a passion for country music, and for
the songs. There's nobody we would rather be sharing a stage with than Wyatt
and company, it's a perfect blend of country, rock and roll, and American roots
music. We’re going to have a BIG time, the energy will be incredible, and we
are so stoked to bring a little piece of The Holler across the pond.”
“This is fixing to be
one of the coolest tours I’ve ever been a part of,” adds Wyatt Flores. “European and UK fans pay so much
attention to my lyrics and truly listen to my music, plus 49 is one of my
favorite bands and have become some of my best friends, so getting to come back
overseas in so many places with them is going to be a heck of a time!”

ABOUT
49 WINCHESTER:
Hailing
from Castlewood, Virginia (population: 1,122) in Southern Appalachia — a place
where opportunity seldom knocks — 49 Winchester came to fruition when Isaac
Gibson, his childhood best friend Chase Chafin, and his hometown crony,
guitarist Bus Shelton, decided to step off the front porch (on Winchester
Street) and take their music to whatever stage would have them.
Captured
in a handful of studios around the country whenever there was a rare moment
between relentless touring schedules, the album has 49 Winchester’s signature
sound of rollicking country and searing rock music, but with a matured approach
this go-around. Leavin’ This Holler offers up a more focused sense of self, a
new bountiful level of intent and purpose. Gibson says, “We wanted to explore
every possible sound we could on this record. No stone left unturned sonically
— we got it exactly where we wanted it.”
ABOUT
WYATT FLORES:
Born
and raised in Oklahoma, the Mexican-American artist has established himself as
one of country music’s most vital voices with his three previous EPs, including
Half Life, which was released earlier this spring. Receiving widespread
critical attention, The New York Times praised, “Wyatt Flores…Has a
Superpower: Tapping Emotions,” while NPR Music declared, “a fantastic
record…he is making a big splash out there” and Holler proclaimed,
“Flores at his gloriously life affirming, existential best.”
Further
adding to his breakout year, Flores has been recognised as one of Rolling
Stone’s 25 “Future of Music” artists, received a nomination for Emerging
Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards, was selected as
Amazon’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year, included in Spotify’s Hot Country
Class of 2024 and CMT’s Listen Up class, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut.
Additionally, Flores has garnered over 325 million streams to date, saw his
2022 breakout single, “Please Don’t Go”, scale the Billboard Hot Country
Songs Chart and had his song “Before I Do” with Jake Kohn featured on the
soundtrack for the new Twisters movie.
