Emerging female country artist Belles debuts her brand-new single, “Broken
In Boots”. The heartbreak anthem is available across all streaming
platforms here(preferred music platform) or tap below:
Co-written with songwriter Johnny Gates, “Broken In Boots” draws
inspiration from a past relationship that sparked and ended on Nashville’s
iconic Broadway. The song delves into the emotional weight of heartbreak,
capturing the feeling of being lost in a place that once felt like home. With vivid
imagery of worn-out boots and familiar streets, it paints a picture rooted in
the very spot where he left her. Recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville,
Tennessee and produced by Johnny Gates, this song captures the raw emotion
following a breakup and stands as a powerful anthem that so many can turn to
when they need a good cry.
“‘Broken
In Boots’ was inspired by a true story…one I know so many of my fans can relate
to," Belles shares. The moral of the story is to not buy matching
cowboy boots with a boyfriend because he might blindside you the next week and
leave you broken in boots!”
Broken
In Boots” follows the release of Belles’ music video for her single “Happy
Hour”.
"Happy
Hour" cleverly plays on the familiar phrase, telling the story of longing
for just one fleeting hour of joy and connection with someone. With lyrics
like, "I'd give for one happy hour, one where your kiss is sweet and not
sour, "the song captures the bittersweet desire for a moment of harmony.
The music video, shot at the Bowery Vault in East Nashville, emphasizes the
solitude of this yearning emotion, reflecting the quiet ache for peace in a
relationship. With its steady tempo, resonant drums, and melodic guitar, the
track evokes a vintage feel that beautifully enhances the emotional narrative
of the song. The music video was directed by Sydney Tooley and the
director of photography was Corbin Schmidt.
Belles
has released several singles leading up to “Broken In Boots”, including
“Porcelain,” a vulnerable track, highlighting themes of love and deep
affection. The music video for "Porcelain" was featured on CMT
Music's 12-Pack, alongside her earlier release "What in the
Truck," which reached number 2. You can watch the official music video for
“Porcelain” here and “What in the Truck” here. Belles also recently
made a special appearance, showcasing her song "Porcelain" with a
live performance on Today in Nashville here.
Hailing
from Nebraska, Belles has been making waves in Nashville since 2018,
captivating audiences with her heartfelt, witty storytelling. Her songs,
co-written with some of the city's top songwriters, have garnered over 70
million streams and views across all platforms.
Belles
has worked alongside renowned writers such as Reid Isbell (“The Kind of
Love We Make”/Luke Combs, “Mr. Saturday Night”/Jon Pardi),Jenn Schott(“7500
OBO” and “Two Lanes of Freedom”/Tim McGraw), Heath Warren (“Rock and A
Hard Place”/Bailey Zimmerman and “Something You Ain’t Ever Had”/Waterloo
Revival), Johnny Gates(“Truck Girl”/Josh Ross, “Loretta Lynn”/Sam Grow,
“Mess It Up”/Blake Wood) and Ned Cameron (Grammy-nominated writer and
producer who has collaborated with artists including Kid Ink, Machine Gun
Kelly, Wiz Khalifa, Sean Kingston and more),contributing to her growing
reputation as a songwriter.
Belles’ music has been featured on CMT, Spotify’s Next from Nashville,
New Music Friday Country, Fresh Finds Country, and Apple Music’s New In
Country, Soundcheck, and What Would Dolly Do? playlists. CMT lauded her
talent, stating, "Belles' crystal-clear vocals and compelling delivery
are displayed in 'Man Outta Me,' which verifies that she's a promising new
artist with a bright future ahead. "Belles' journey in music is deeply
influenced by her musical family. With her mother being a part of the successful
sister pop/harmony group Mulberry Lane, Belles was surrounded by music from a
young age. Her early experiences, including touring with her mother’s group and
performing in a mother-daughter duo, laid the foundation for her solo career.
Belles has quickly established herself as a powerful voice in country music.
Her recent global recording deal with East Music Row Records and
publishing agreement with Deluge Music mark a major career milestone.
After wrapping her headlining Trust Issues Tour, Belles continues to
build her presence, having shared the stage with artists like Miranda
Lambert, Old Dominion, and Brett Eldredge, while growing her
fan base nationwide.
With a loyal following on social media— boasting 392k followers on TikTok, 131k
on Instagram, 166k on YouTube, 166k on Facebook, 70 Million cumulative views
and streams of her original songs on all platforms, and 1 million direct fan
reach—Belles connects with her fans through her music and live interactions.
Her mission is clear: to write songs that resonate deeply with her audience,
making them feel empowered, confident, and understood.
“‘Deep Down’ is one of those songs that just feels good the moment it kicks in.
It’s high-energy, it’s fun, and it tells a story a lot of us can relate to —
looking for love in all the wrong places until you finally find the real thing.
It’s the kind of song you turn up loud with the windows down. I think it’s a
perfect fit for Summer.” said James.
From touring as the lead vocalist on Randy Travis's "More Life
Tour", to performing at the Grand Ole Opry, and following
the release of his EP Perfect Time, James continues to build powerful momentum.
“Deep Down” proves that his journey is only gaining speed—with more new music
and big performances on the horizon.
The
father of five made his acting debut in the film “The Price” playing the son of
a country singer portrayed by Randy Travis. In 2019, James was handpicked by
Randy and his wife, Mary, as the special guest vocalist for the “More Life
Tour.” Along with Randy’s original band, James performs all of the Country
Music Hall of Famer’s biggest hits. James released his third studio album, Home
and Away, in 2020 with three singles: the title track, “Another Love Song,” and
“Painfully Pretty.” In September 2023, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut
in Nashville, Tenn..
In
May 2024, James was featured on CBS Sunday Morning as being the first ever
“vocal bed” on a commercially released song. The single, “Where That Came
From,” was the first new music released by Randy Travis in over a decade, and
was produced with the help of Artificial Intelligence to reimagine Randy’s
legendary vocals on new music. For more information, visit JamesDupre.com.

LAUREN
ALAINA WELCOMES BABY GIRL WITH HUSBAND CAM ARNOLD
AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL
NEW SONG “HEAVEN SENT” RELEASED TO CELEBRATE BIRTH OF COUNTRY
SUPERSTAR'S FIRST CHILD
NASHVILLE,
TENN. Nashville,
Tenn. (June 16, 2025) – Country powerhouse Lauren Alaina and
husband Cam Arnold announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl named
Beni Doll Arnold. The new parents welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, June 11
in Nashville. Alaina celebrated Beni's arrival on social media(Instagram Post),
penning a poignant letter to her newborn:
“The
right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn't
even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 AM when they laid you on my belly for
the first time. I will never be the same,” Alaina writes.
“You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us
to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all the love, prayers and support
for our precious daughter.”
A
touchingly autobiographical new song, “Heaven
Sent”has released (13/06) in honor of Beni. Co-written by
Alaina, labelmate HARDY and Ben Johnson, the song reflects the
Grand Ole Opry member's newest chapter of first-time motherhood and the purpose
a new life can bring to a family after losing a loved one. The song,
highlighting Alaina's “soulful, expressive vocal” (American Songwriter),
was written within weeks of her beloved father's passing, coupled with finding
out she was expecting.
“I
have a little surprise for everyone. To celebrate the most precious miracle on
Earth, I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter,” says
Alaina. “We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of
my daddy. I wasn't sure when I would share 'Heaven Sent,' but watching my own
husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it
with you now. She came just before Father's Day – my first without my own
father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect
reason to celebrate it: Beni's daddy, my sweet and steady husband. Beni is
truly a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent.”
“Heaven
Sent” follows “All My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew),” which gave
Alaina the biggest first-week streaming numbers of her career. Earlier this
year, she released a similarly sassy “Household,” called a “Song
You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone, and the softhearted,
sentimental “Those Kind of Women” that Billboard deems
“a tender ballad.”
Embarking
on a new chapter in music and in life, Alaina has discussed such topics with endearing candor
on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Off the Vine with Kaitlyn
Bristowe, Amazon's Country Heat Weekly podcast, and Diving
In Deep with Sara Evans, among other interviews. Fans can also see Alaina,
who “utilizes her likeness to encourage authenticity” (Forbes), via
her web series LA Lately where she captures
true-to-life conversations with some of her closest friends. Recent episodes
include guests like Trisha Yearwood, Chase Matthew, Russell and Kailey
Dickerson and more. The series can be viewed here.

- Country singer-songwriter Emma King has announced the release of her
fourth album POCKETFUL OF SUN on August 22nd 2025. The title
single, out now, is available to stream now on all DSPs (Preferred music
platform HERE), with an accompanying
video available to view on YouTube.
Emma
King’s remarkable journey has taken her from Northern England to Tennessee,
touring Europe and receiving 5-star album reviews along the way. Having lived
in Tennessee for 8 years, Emma became a regular of Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe
and represented the UK at Nashville’s CMA International festival,
appearing on radio stations across the country including the legendary WSM
(home of the Opry).
The
sunflower-strewn fields of Emma King’s new single ‘Pocketful of Sun’ have a
deeper meaning than just a hopeful nod to the British summer. Emma’s autistic
daughter Eloise has played her part in the song’s inspiration, and the
sunflower has become a symbol of empathy and inclusivity for those with hidden
disabilities. The title track from the forthcoming album, the song sums up the
infectious joy of childhood and, rather than deal with struggles and
inequalities (as does its sister song ‘Better Than It Was’), celebrates the
raucous energy of youth. Its sing-along hook “I’ve got a pocketful of
sun...I’ve got enough for everyone” invites us on an irresistible journey of
guitar riffs, americana licks, and vocal power.
More
than just a nod to the uplifting atmosphere of Emma’s trademark soulful
Americana-country sound, the true inspiration for ‘Pocketful Of Sun’s title
refers to the journey she has been on both as a musician and as parent raising
Eloise. Diagnosed autistic at age 2 Eloise is entirely non-verbal yet, amidst
all the challenges the family faces, the unconditional love felt by Emma has
been deeply inspirational, precipitating the desire to have her upcoming album
exist as a call to action as much as a tribute to her darling daughter.
A
musical love letter to the country sounds Emma was drawn to in her childhood,
such as the cheeky mischief of The Chicks and the country guitar-rock of Sheryl
Crow, other tracks on Pocketful of Sun give us a glimpse into Emma’s
years on the road in Nashville (‘18 Hours’), her thoughts on the music
industry (‘Sweetest Song’) and a moving reflection of her hometown of
Hull (‘Guess It Was Ours’).
Renowned
for her captivating and high energy live shows, Emma has supported artists such
as Jo Dee Messina, Deanna Carter, Thompson Square, Brett Michaels, Sohie Ellis
Bextor, The Drifters, Old Dominion, and Exile. Upon her return to
England Emma received unwavering support from the BBC including Radio 2 and
live performances on BBC London, HMV’s recommended release, plus rave reviews
from national media including Maverick Magazine.

ABOUT
Emma
King’s remarkable journey has already taken her from Northern England to
Tennessee, touring Europe and receiving 5-star album reviews along the way.
From
the grass roots of Hull, East Yorkshire and learning from her parent’s
love of Fleetwood Mac & Elvis, Emma developed the deep, soulful Americana
timbre that has now become a trademark of her sound. What made it even more
impressive (and still does!) is how such a huge sounding voice comes from such
a petite frame… 300+
gigs later and while still a teenager, Emma’s calling became apparent when she
spotted American legends like Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson on late-night TV
and soon declared her musical future to be America’s homes of Rock ‘n’ Roll:
Nashville & Memphis. For Emma, she knew that musical growth meant travel,
and started to look outside of the city that had primed her for what was to
come.
When
Emma turned 17 she won a scholarship to the Brighton Institute of Modern
Music awarded by Carleen Anderson (Brand New Heavies, and God-Daughter of
James Brown).
It
was here that Emma King and The Heartsets was formed, featuring Emma and
4 young musicians from Brighton, all busting out Country-tinged Americana.
After
multiple tours to Germany, and inspired by Emma’s ambition and plans to tour
America, the band followed suit and together they began self-funded trips to
Nashville, TN. The group’s instant likeability (and British accents!)
eventually hit upon a management & record label team in PLC Records that
took on and settled the whole gang in a traditional ‘band house’ in Manchester,
Tennessee, heralding the start of a new adventure.
Eventually,
