The
Americana Music Association (AMA) has announced the nominations for their 24th
Annual Americana Honours & Awards for 2025. The awards will be
presented at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on 10th September 2025. The
ceremony is the AMA’s showpiece in the AmericanaFest, which takes place across
many venues in Nashville from 9th – 13th of September 2025.

The
winners will be announced during the Americana Honors & Awards on
Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at the historic Ryman Auditorium in
Nashville. The celebrated program is the hallmark event of AMERICANAFEST, which
returns for its 25th year on Sept. 9-13, 2025.
The
Americana Music Association honors distinguished members of the music community
with six member-voted annual awards. Lifetime Achievement honorees are also
recognized during the ceremony, including the co-presented ‘Legacy of
Americana’ Award by the National Museum of African American Music.
For
more than two decades, the prestigious ceremony has celebrated pioneering
mainstays and trailblazing newcomers, while featuring unforgettable moments in
musical history including Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash’s last live
performance together, as well as offering show-stopping appearances by Sierra
Ferrell, Brandi Carlile, Allison Russell, Noah Kahan, 49 Winchester, Mavis
Staples, Bob Weir, Buddy Guy, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Dwight Yoakam, Shelby
Lynne, Lukas Nelson, The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, The Blind Boys of

showcasing artists at AMERICANAFEST in Nashville, running from September 9-13,
2025. 120 showcasing artists are confirmed to play the festival, with more
performers to be announced in July. A list of all confirmed showcasing artists
