ALAINA WELCOMES BABY GIRL WITH HUSBAND CAM ARNOLD
AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL
NEW SONG “HEAVEN SENT” RELEASED TO CELEBRATE BIRTH OF COUNTRY
SUPERSTAR'S FIRST CHILD
NASHVILLE,
TENN. Nashville,
Tenn. (June 16, 2025) – Country powerhouse Lauren Alaina and
husband Cam Arnold announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl named
Beni Doll Arnold. The new parents welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, June 11
in Nashville. Alaina celebrated Beni's arrival on social media (Instagram Post),
penning a poignant letter to her newborn:
“The
right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn't
even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 AM when they laid you on my belly for
the first time. I will never be the same,” Alaina writes.
“You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us
to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all the love, prayers and support
for our precious daughter.”
A
touchingly autobiographical new song, “Heaven
Sent” has released (13/06) in honor of Beni. Co-written by
Alaina, labelmate HARDY and Ben Johnson, the song reflects the
Grand Ole Opry member's newest chapter of first-time motherhood and the purpose
a new life can bring to a family after losing a loved one. The song,
highlighting Alaina's “soulful, expressive vocal” (American Songwriter),
was written within weeks of her beloved father's passing, coupled with finding
out she was expecting.
“I
have a little surprise for everyone. To celebrate the most precious miracle on
Earth, I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter,” says
Alaina. “We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of
my daddy. I wasn't sure when I would share 'Heaven Sent,' but watching my own
husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it
with you now. She came just before Father's Day – my first without my own
father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect
reason to celebrate it: Beni's daddy, my sweet and steady husband. Beni is
truly a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent.”
“Heaven
Sent” follows “All My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew),” which gave
Alaina the biggest first-week streaming numbers of her career. Earlier this
year, she released a similarly sassy “Household,” called a “Song
You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone, and the softhearted,
sentimental “Those Kind of Women” that Billboard deems
“a tender ballad.”
Embarking
on a new chapter in music and in life, Alaina has discussed such topics with endearing candor
on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Off the Vine with Kaitlyn
Bristowe, Amazon's Country Heat Weekly podcast, and Diving
In Deep with Sara Evans, among other interviews. Fans can also see Alaina,
who “utilizes her likeness to encourage authenticity” (Forbes), via
her web series LA Lately where she captures
true-to-life conversations with some of her closest friends. Recent episodes
include guests like Trisha Yearwood, Chase Matthew, Russell and Kailey
Dickerson and more. The series can be viewed here.
