Even Oasis in full reunion tour mode were unable to prevent the
ever-revolving door at the top of the album chart from making another turn.
Their compilation, Time Flies 1994-2009, was dispatched from the summit by Wet
Leg, whose second album, Moisturizer, debuted atop the list on consumption
of 26,014 units (11,513 CDs, 10,156 vinyl albums, 383 cassettes, 1,468 digital
downloads and 2,494 sales-equivalent streams).
Effecting the 31st change of leadership in as many weeks, it arrives three years after Wet Leg’s eponymous debut album opened at the summit on 11.37% higher consumption of 28,972 units – a tally that was undoubtedly helped by them being runners-up to PinkPantheress in the BBC’s Sound Of 2022 rankings, and the viral success of the singles Chaise Longue and Wet Dream.

UK Singles
After changing for five weeks in a row – the longest
such sequence since 2022/2023 – leadership of the singles chart remained in the
hands of Dior, the upmarket collaboration between MK and Chrystal.
Its consumption unexpectedly declined last week, but the track now returns to
growth – as does the overall singles market – adding a chunky 6.19%
week-on-week to 42,157 units (947 digital downloads, 41,210 sales-equivalent
streams).
Dior’s closest competitor, Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, remained at No.2
but decreased consumption for the fifth straight week, falling 4.79%
week-on-week to 36,633 units. The gap between the two, which was just 3.18%
last week, thus increases to 15.08%.
Alex Warren feat. Jelly Roll “Bloodline”
fell 30-31.
Morgan Wallen ft Tate McRae with
“What I Want” slipped 54-56 in their nineth week.
In his 65th chart frame Shaboozey’s A Bar Song

Dickerson earns his first Country Airplay top 10 since “God Gave Me a

Riley Green’s “Don’t Mind If I Do” Is The Most Added
Kudos to Ryan Dokke and
the Nashville Harbor crew on racking up 80 adds for Riley
Green’s “Don’t Mind If I Do” featuring Ella Langley. This is Green’s fifth release to top the CA/MB Add
Board.
Triple Tigers Records recording
artist, Shane Profitt, had the second most-added song at Country
radio this week with his debut radio single with Triple Tigers Records, “Long
Live Country,” with 49 new stations (55 stations historically). The
anthemic track resonates with down-home lyrics celebrating the simple life,
delivered in Profitt’s booming, soulful voice.
LISTEN: “Long Live Country”
Written by Profitt, Matt Rogers and Lindsay Rimes, the
autobiographical song shines a big spotlight on the singer’s small town and the
beer-swiggin’, SEC game-watchin’, Jesus-lovin’ people who make it up.

BLUEGRASS
NEWS
Nashville, Tenn. (July 15, 2025) — One of Middle Tennessee’s
most historic recording studios will soon reopen for business following an
extensive renovation. Skaggs Place Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee —
founded by Country Music Hall of Fame member Ricky
Skaggs — has been shuttered for the past few years as the music
legend renovated the recording space to bring in top-notch technology. It’s
officially open for business on July 16.
"I’m so happy that my newly renovated
recording studio Skaggs Place is finally ready to open up again,"
said Skaggs. "We’ve done so many things to make it a first-class
recording studio in the quiet little town of Hendersonville, Tennessee. It was
already a studio where many GRAMMY Award-winning projects have been recorded,
but with new improvements, like raising the ceiling height to 14 feet, new
hardwood floors, amp lockers for live recordings, a new lighting system, a new
HVAC system where air falls from overhead down into the room so it’s very
quiet, just to name a few. It’s just a cool place to be creative."
(15 July 2025) Acclaimed bluegrass ensemble East Nash Grass has
released their latest single, “Lonesome Song,” a poignant and
poetic reflection on grief, isolation, and the quiet tension between sorrow and
the natural world.
Written by Christopher Brian Henry, “Lonesome Song” reflects on the quiet
tension between inner heartache and the seamless harmony of the natural world.
As band member James Kee explains, “The hardship of loss can feel almost
irrelevant in the face of such beauty. Ringing through the valleys and fields,
loneliness stands in stark contrast to the rest of nature, which seems so
perfectly in tune.” LISTEN NOW: HERE
Carried by East Nash Grass’s signature blend of rich instrumentation and
emotionally resonant vocals, “Lonesome Song” is both tender and powerful—a
heartfelt meditation on the kind of loneliness that echoes louder in places
where beauty surrounds us most. The band’s nuanced musicianship brings depth
and texture to the lyrics, creating a soundscape that feels intimate yet
expansive.
(18 July 2025) Mountain Fever
Records is proud to announce the release of Backline’s powerful new single, “Dark Rolling Deep”—the
first glimpse of their forthcoming album. Penned by bandleader Katelyn Ingardia,
this haunting and beautifully crafted track weaves a timeless tale of love,
superstition, and tragedy set on the high seas.
Set in the era of wooden ships and sailor lore, “Dark Rolling Deep” follows a
woman who falls for the captain of a vessel bound for distant shores. But the
sea, steeped in mystery and danger, had other plans. With poetic storytelling
and vivid instrumentation, the song captures the depth of longing and the ache
of what’s lost to the tides.

** NEW MUSIC **
(18 July 2025) Country artist Belles drops her newest single “Crazy as Me”
featuring emerging singer/songwriter Blake Wood. Boasting more than 8
million views online, “Crazy as Me” continues to gain traction across the
social media landscape. The honky-tonk duet is available across all streaming
platforms here.
Alongside the new release, Belles has officially announced the second leg of her
Behind the Guitar tour, an acoustic-style experience spotlighting the
stories behind her songs. Once again, she will be joined by fellow country
artist Charly Reynolds as they embark on 14 dates across the country
this fall. After a successful first run of the tour, the duo is bringing back
their unique blend of storytelling and stripped-down performances for fans
nationwide.
Produced by Sam Grow,
“Crazy as Me” is a classic honky-tonk duet with a modern edge. The song is a
conversation between two wild hearts just reckless enough to make it work. With
throwback country instrumentation and sharp, conversational lyrics, the track
channels the magnetic spirit of George & Tammy and Conway & Loretta.
Written just one day before recording, “Crazy as Me” came to life through Kelli
Belles, Blake Wood, and Johnny Gates’ songwriting.
(18 July 2025) The wait is over,
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bernie Leadon released his first single in over 20 years “Too
Many Memories” (tagged country). This marks the beginning of a bold,
new chapter for Bernie, showcasing the return of a true musical savant. Listen
here: ffm.to/bl-memories.OPR.
“Too Many Memories," is a deeply personal reflection of Bernie Leadon’s remarkable life and storied career – a heartfelt journey through decades of music, milestones, and meaning. With his unmistakable vocals and soul-stirring piano, this track is a one-of-a-kind declaration of his return to the music world – and one that’s sure to resonate with fans both new and longtime.
When Bernie
Leadon embarked on the “History of the Eagles” tour with his former
bandmates in 2013, he was sitting on a long and storied music career that he
had all but put behind him. Nearly a decade out from releasing 2004’s Mirror,
he had wrapped up a majority of his session work with Emmylou Harris’
2003 Stumble Into Grace and was enjoying life with his family
and on his farm in Middle Tennessee.
The reunion with fellow co-founders of the band Don Henley and Glenn Frey,
along with Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, would be Frey’s last tour, and it
allowed Leadon a chance to bury the hatchet and make amends after a
semi-chaotic end to his journey in the iconic band.
It was also announced (July 10), in a Rolling Stone exclusive, that Bernie will join the lineup of AMERICANAFEST,
September 9 - 13 and is set to perform on the 12th. The show will be Leadon’s
first public performance since 2015 on the “History of the Eagles” tour.
AMERICANAFEST festival passes are on sale now. Individual tickets to this
performance will be available in the coming weeks.

(16 July 2025) country artist Hannah Anders released
new single "Break Us", The single is now available on
all digital
streaming platforms.
When you hear the term “young
love,” you might assume it begins and ends in the same breath—a fleeting,
innocent kind of affection you look back on with a soft smile. But with Hannah
Anders’ newest release, “Break Us,” she challenges that narrative, revealing
just how deep and lasting young love can truly be. That it’s not always
naive—sometimes it’s the start of everything. The ultimate “when
you know, you know.”
Speaking on the song and the
relationship that inspired it, Anders says, “What’s kept us strong isn’t
some magical formula—it’s the choice we make every single day to keep showing
up for each other, even when it’s hard.” It’s a grounded kind of romance,
one rooted in resilience and the everyday decision to stay.
(18 July 2025) Piano-slaying

Tolliver is turning heads today
with the release of his bold new single — a reimagined version of Randy
Travis’s 1994 album cut “Honky Tonk Side of Town.” Jacob is
offering a soulful, modern-day spin that bridges traditional country roots with
modern Americana grit.
With smoky vocals, powerful piano riffs, and a style that’s all his own,
Tolliver breathes new life into the Travis tune — blending classic twang with
blues, rock, and soul. The release has already earned a rare and personal
endorsement: Randy Travis himself visited the studio
and gave Jacob his blessing, a moment captured on camera and featured in the
emotional official music video.

most reflective—and most authentic—form yet. With its warm throwback feel,
lyrical nods to country legends, and a chorus built for backroads and beer
joints, the single is a love letter to small-town roots and the enduring power
of country values.
Listen to “The Older I Get
(More Country I’m Gettin’ To Be)” HERE.
“'The Older I Get (More
Country I’m Gettin’ to Be)' is truly an autobiographical effort in a song,”
Wolfe told Holler. “It’s exactly where I’m at in my life and
in my career as a country singer. It’s not about chasing trends to me. I’m
writing songs and singing songs that mean something to me. It’s about being
true to myself and letting that reflection come through in my music.”

single, “If I Had A Cheating Heart”. Originally a Top 10 hit for Mel Street
in 1978, the song was later re-recorded by Ricky Lynn Gregg in 1993, reaching
the Top 40. Written by Wayland Holyfield (Anne Murray, Don Williams, Ronnie
Milsap) and Al Turney (Mel Street, Don Williams), “If I Had a Cheating Heart”
has become a favorite among country traditionalists. Sadler’s take on the classic
track proves that his timeless style continues to resonate with fans of
authentic country music.
“Country music has been the
number one passion of mine since I was a little boy,” shared Sadler. “I
remember my family bringing me to the Grand Ole Opry and being amazed by the
stars who took the stage, their stories, and their songs. Also my journey

as Thomas Rhett trades the rat race for true wealth (and a 12-string guitar).
Wiser by the day – but still young at heart – he hoists a toast to honky-tonk
hangovers with the joyful sing along “Old Tricks” (ft. Blake Shelton). And with
the flirtatious stomp-and-clap banger “Bottle With Your Name On It,” he lets

Mars. Fans can listen to ABOUT A WOMAN (& A Good Ol’ Boy) HERE and can
