(4 July 2025) Embracing the art of not caring what people say about you,
T-Shirt (written by Ash Tucker, Taynee Lord) is Taynee Lord's witty upbeat summer song about hearing stories of lies you've heard about yourself after a breakup and making light of it. The Mean Girls Movie was an inspiration for this track with secret injected quotes, filling the song with sass & witty remarks, whilst giving the song a Shania Twain meets Brothers Osborne country feel.
Taynee founded her 5-piece band in Bristol in late 2018 recording her debut EP IF ONLY in January 2019. Since then, her single ''No God Of Mine" charted at Number 1 in the iTunes U.K. country music Charts.
In 2022 Taynee’s music was successful at The Simply Country Radio awards, winning The People’s Choice Award and Best Song of the Year with her single 'Love Moves Like A Train"'.
Recently Taynee Lord's live appearances include festival headline slots and supporting artists such as and at multiple festivals around the UK. She continues to be a rising force amidst the burgeoning British Country Music Scene with her transmitting connection to the roots of Americana.
Taynee Lord LIVE DATES:
12th July 2025 - Somerstock Festival (Recreation Ground, Gassons Lane, Somerton, TA11 6HS) Taynee will be performing on the main stage at 2.45pm.
10th August 2025 - DevaFest (Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire WEBSITE) Taynee Lord will be performing on the heart and soul

Billboard 200 News
Morgan Wallen’s I’M THE PROBLEM ruled the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated July 12) for a seventh consecutive, and total, week. The set earned 173,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending July 3 — down a scant 3% compared to the previous week. The album opened at No. 1 on the May 31 chart.
With 173,000 units earned, Problem landed the largest total for an album in its seventh week on the chart since Adele’s 25 earned 194,000 in its seventh week nearly a decade ago (on the Jan. 23, 2016-dated chart).
Of I’m the Problem’s 173,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 3, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) units comprised 164,000 (down 3%, equaling 215 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs — it leads Top Streaming Albums for a seventh week), album sales comprised 7,500 (up 2% — it falls 7-11 on Top Album Sales) and track equivalent albums (TEA) units comprised 1,500 (up 6%).

Wallen’s chart-topping ONE THING AT A TIME pushed down 5-6 (nearly 40,000; up 7%).

Billboard Hot 100 News
Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” rolls on atop the Billboard Hot 100, as his first leader on the chart notches a fifth week at No. 1.

Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen logged his fifth week in 2025 with at least three songs in the Hot 100’s top five simultaneously, as “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, held at No.2, “Just in Case” rose 4-3 and “I’m the Problem” keeps at No.5. Wallen ties Kendrick Lamar for the most weeks with three or more concurrent top five hits in a single year among soloists, with Lamar also having posted three such weeks this year. Among all acts, only the Beatles in their historic 1964 breakthrough boasted more such frames (eight).

Shaboozey’sA Bar Song (Tipsy)” buzzed 7-4 on the Hot 100, following its record-tying 19 weeks at No. 1 beginning last July.
Chappell Roan’s The Giver” was the week’s top-selling song overall, with 57,000 in sales, up from a negligible sum, after vinyl copies, which account for nearly all the song’s sales in the tracking week, were shipped to consumers. The single re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 43 — it launched at its No. 5 high, and at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs, in March.

Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart News
Morgan Wallen logged his 18th No. 1 — and the fourth from his album I’m the Problem — on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart as “Just in Case” ascended two spots to the top of the survey dated July 12.
The single surged 22% to 29.4 million audience impressions June 27-July 3, according to Luminate.
Wallen co-authored the song, and Joey Moi produced it.

The ballad becomes the fourth Country Airplay chart-topper among the 37 songs on Wallen’s blockbuster I’m the Problem, which has led Top Country Albums and the Billboard 200 in its first six weeks of release. The title track dominated for eight weeks beginning in April, “Love Somebody” ruled for three weeks in February, and “Lies Lies Lies” led for a week last November.
Notably, as we pass the halfway point this year, Wallen’s latest Country Airplay No. 1 marks his third of 2025 — no other act has more than one. In 2024, he became the first artist to roll up five leaders in a single year since the list launched in 1990: “Lies Lies Lies”; “Cowgirls,” featuring Ernest; Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Wallen; “Man Made a Bar,” featuring Eric Church, and Thomas Rhett’s “Mamaw’s House,” featuring Wallen.

Billboard’s Country Chart News

Tate McRaeWhat I Want”: The collaboration, whose co-writers include the pair, dominates the Hot Country Songs chart for a seventh week with 22.8 million official U.S. streams, 18.1 million all-format audience impressions and 2,000 sold June 27-July 3, according to Luminate. Plus, with new Country Airplay leader “Just in Case” at No. 2 on Hot Country Songs and three other Wallen tracks in the top 10, he adds his 28th career week with at least half the tier — no other act has more than one such week.

No.6 Parker McCollum PARKER MCCOLLUM: The Conroe, Texas, native logs his third top 10 on Top Country Albums as his self-titled set starts with 19,000 equivalent album units — his best career week. MUSIC NEWS
You might find an exception to the common saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” in album artwork. Your cover art serves as the powerful first impression for future fans, a storytelling device, and a window into your world — it can be the sole reason someone gives your music a chance.  But it’s also one of the most common reasons releases are delayed.  That’s because major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music have strict guidelines your cover art must follow. In this guide, we’ll provide cover art best practices to ensure your release goes live on time. Beyond the technical considerations, we’ve provided tips and insights from industry experts on how to design a great album cover. Cover art is important for two reasons, one practical, another artistic. First, it’s often the culprit for delayed releases. If you’re submitting your music for distribution, your cover art must meet certain formatting, design, and file type requirements set by major streaming platforms or you release risks rejection.  Second, even in today’s digital age, cover art is a crucial storytelling, marketing, and artistic device that helps turn new listeners onto your music and anchors your branding. According to a study by MusicWatch as cited on CoverHub, 75% of listeners said that album art influenced their perception of the music before they even heard it. A compelling album cover can help you earn new fans and stand out in every setting from a streaming library to a vinyl rack.

        Third gear slippin’
Radiator hotter than a grease fire kitchen
        Windshield wishing

(4 July 2025)
Nashville, TN(4 July, 2025) – Multi-platinum entertainer Russell Dickerson releases his new track, 'Sippin’ on Top of the World', written by Travis Wood, Casey Brown, and Hunter Phelps. Marking one of the first outside cuts of his career, the euphoric feel-good rocker is guaranteed to make you smile. The release follows the recent announcement of Dickerson’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, FAMOUS BACK HOME, out Aug. 22 (via Triple Tigers). Stream 'Sippin’ on Top of the World' HERE and pre-save FAMOUS BACK HOME HERE.
'Sippin’ on Top of the World' celebrates life’s simple joys and the gratitude that comes with them. The song trades stress for freedom, hitting open country roads in a Chevy. With no city traffic, a six-pack from the Texaco, and a girl riding shotgun, it paints a picture of small-town contentment—where cold beer, front porch sunsets, and good company make it feel like the luckiest life around. It’s not about postcard perfection—it’s about perspective. A laid-back groove and vivid storytelling make the track an ode to slowing down and soaking up the good life.
Dickerson is also riding high on the success of his latest and fastest-rising single, 'Happen To Me', which marks a major career milestone as his biggest streaming debut to date—surpassing 120+ million streams, breaking into the Top 15 on country radio, reaching No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway, and continuing its rise on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
