(10 June 2025) Country music superstar Scotty McCreery recently took his
unmistakable baritone overseas for sold out shows in London, Manchester and
Glasgow. The multi-Platinum showman brought UK crowds to their feet at
London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, the O2 Ritz Manchester, and Glasgow’s
Barrowland Ballroom. McCreery also took the stage for his first time in
Belfast at SSE Arena Belfast selling more than 3,000 tickets and packing out
his first ever show in Birmingham at O2 Institute.

“The UK audiences are amazing. They know the words to
every song and sing along passionately,” said an excited McCreery. “We’ve
been to the UK several times now, and each time we come we play a venue that is
larger than the last trip and add additional cities. It’s gratifying to see the
audiences growing every time we come. I can’t wait to come back again!”
UK radio has loved McCreery’s new song “Bottle Rockets”
featuring Hootie & the Blowfish, which debuted at No. 22 on the UK Country
Radio Airplay Chart on its first week of airplay, being named Record of the
Week on Absolute Radio Country, BFBS Radio, CountryLine Radio, and Smooth
Country. While in Manchester, McCreery did an interview backstage with Bob
Harris for BBC Radio 2 about the song and the tour.
(12 June 2025) After a sold-out 2023 tour, stars of the
iconic hit television series ‘NASHVILLE’
are returning with shows across the United Kingdom. The NASHVILLE Encore
Tour will start in Newcastle at O2 City Hall on Friday 6th
February 2026 and will visit Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham,
London and Cardiff before culminating in Bournemouth at the
International Centre on Sunday 15th February 2026.
The NASHVILLE Encore Tour will feature stars Clare Bowen,
Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson and Sam Palladio who will take the stage to
perform classic songs from the series as well as their own original material.
(13 June 2025) Three months have passed since UK-CMA was
launched on March 10th. At launch they had a number of goals and
objectives that they wanted to achieve in the short-term and they are pleased
to say, not only have they achieved them but they have managed to exceed them.
GOALS:
- Have successfully attracted enough members to ensure that they
could meet their first-year financial commitments and that has meant they have
been able to move forward with the events planned for their Academy, which is
vital to developing the strength and depth of the UK country scene.
- Continue to grow their membership - the larger we are, the
greater the voice we have to help spread the word about UK country music.
- Continue to build the UK country community - meeting,
talking and being seen is vital in building relationships with artists,
professionals and fans alike. They will be at all the main festivals this year
and at a lot of gigs around the country as well.
- Build on the work they have done in their Academy - the
on-line sessions have proved very popular and they intend to hold more of these
and add more face-to-face events based on the curriculum established.
- EDUCATION UPDATE: UK-CMA hosted their first in-person
Songwriting Masterclass with Australian artist Hayley Jensen, timed
ahead of her performance at Nashville Sounds in the Round.
(15 June 2025) LONDON, U.K. - (16 June, 2025)
- Acclaimed Australian actor and musician Alan
Fletcher will release his latest
single ‘Back to School’ on June 20th, preceding his return
to the UK next month, for a two-month run of headline shows across the
country.
Commenting on ‘Back to School’, Fletcher shared, “I have
been a student of love all my life and the most valuable lesson I ever had was
from English Philosopher Alain de Botton. Alain reminds us that, while it is
easy to fall in love, staying in love takes work! We have to learn how to love
so, perhaps, the secret to staying in love is to go…..Back to School (cue
song).”
Following a triumphant 2024 UK tour featuring 24 sold-out
shows and a performance at the prestigious Kendal Calling Festival, Alan is
ready for his biggest and best tour ever in 2025. TICKETS

Morgan Wallen’s I’M THE PROBLEM spent a month at No.1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated June 21), as the set earned 209,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the tracking week, ending
June 12 (down 15%), according to Luminate. The album debuted at No. 1 on the
chart dated May 31.
With 209,000 units earned,
Problem lands the largest fourth week for an album since Taylor Swift’s The
Tortured Poets Department earned 260,000 in its fourth week (May 25, 2024-dated
chart).
Of I’m the Problem’s 209,000
equivalent album units earned in the week ending June 12, streaming equivalent
albums (SEA) units comprised 197,000 (down 14%, equaling 257.9 million
on-demand official streams of the set’s songs — it leads Top Streaming Albums
for a fourth week), album sales comprised 10,500 (down
34% — it fell 3-9 on Top Album Sales) and track equivalent albums (TEA) units
comprised 1,500 (down 15%).
Morgan Wallen’s former
leader ONE

Sabrina
Carpenter’s “Manchild” soared onto the Billboard Hot 100 at No.1. The song

its second week on the chart.

Wallen’s fourth No. 1 and McRae’s first. It also tops the multi-metric Hot
Country Songs chart for a fourth week. Wallen follows on the Hot 100 with the
No. 2-peaking “Just in Case” (3-4) and “I’m the Problem” (5-6), as I’m the
Problem, the parent set of all three songs, posts a fourth week at No. 1 on the
Billboard 200.
Shaboozey’s “A Bar

Hot 100, following its record-tying 19 weeks at No. 1 beginning last July.
Billboard’s
Country Airplay Chart News
Riley Green banked his
third chart-topper on Billboard’s Country Airplay list as “Worst
Way” (Nashville Harbor) rose 3-1 on the list dated June 21.
It increased by 13% to 28.4million audience
impressions in the June 6-12 tracking week, according to Luminate. Notably, the
Jacksonville, Ala., native notched the first Country Airplay leader by an
artist who solely wrote and recorded it since Chayce Beckham’s “23” led in
April 2024. Before that, no artist had achieved the feat since Taylor Swift’s
“Ours” topped the chart in March 2012. Since Country Airplay launched in
January 1990, “Worst Way” is the 39th leader solely authored by the soloist who
recorded it. “‘Worst Way’ is a song I wrote by myself while I was out on the
road,” Green told Billboard. “I wanted to create something in the spirit of
[John Mayer’s 2006 song] ‘Slow Dancing in a Burning Room’ or Eric Church’s
‘Like a Wrecking Ball’ [from 2015], and I think with the help of my producer,
Dann Huff, we were able to do just that. I set out to blend traditional country
instrumentation with a modern edge — something smooth and reflective, but still
grounded in that raw, country feel.”

BLUEGRASS
Willis, VA (June 10, 2025)
– East Nash Grass shared a vibrant new cut with “Bend in
the Road,” a song that leans into homegrown roots, road stories, and
the kind of songwriting that only comes from living it.
Written by Harry Clark and Cory Walker, “Bend in the Road” started as a
slow-burn idea and found its groove the way the best songs often do — with
patience, a little humor, and a nod to family history. STREAM/PURCHASE
(13
June 2025) Remedy Tree, one of modern bluegrass and Americana’s most
heartfelt and sonically distinctive bands, released their next single, “Troubadour,”
a moving tribute to the intersection of artistry, family, and unshakable
determination.
PURCHASE/STREAM
With
a growing reputation for poetic lyricism and authentic musicianship, the band
continues to capture hearts nationwide—and “Troubadour” may be their most
intimate work to date.
Frontman Gabriel Acevedo shares, “‘Troubadour’ is probably one of the most
vulnerable songs I’ve written. It was a special challenge because I set out to
write it from my wife’s point of view. It’s a tribute to Abi and her
passion for what we do. Living as a band and as a family comes with challenges
and a lot of raw emotion, and through all the chaos in it there’s a true thread
of determination and love for the craft—and we wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Co-written with Josh Griffin and Nathan Beaumont—who also contributed greatly
to the song's arrangement—“Troubadour” dives deep into the emotional core of
Remedy Tree’s musical journey. It’s both a love letter and a testimony to the
shared dream of a husband-and-wife-led band navigating the highs and lows of
life on and off the stage.
The track features Abigail Acevedo on lead vocals and bass, whose
expressive voice anchors the song’s emotional depth; Gabriel
Acevedo on acoustic guitar and harmony vocals, bringing his signature
melodic storytelling; Nathan Beaumont on banjo, adding a resonant
Appalachian edge; and Bryce Griffin on mandolin, whose playing
provides warmth and rhythmic clarity.

Trying to release physical copies of your music on a tight budget? Explore
cost-effective CD duplication vs replication and manufacturing to create
high-quality albums to sell at shows and online. As you plan your album
release, remember that no album is complete without physical media. Before you
start your next CD project, let’s learn the ins and outs of CD duplication.
CD duplication is the uncomplicated process of creating multiple copies of a CD
from a single source disc (the “master”). A CD burner or duplicator is used to
make exact replicas of this master. Usually, commercial CD duplication is for
short-run orders of under 1000 units; the simplest CD duplication is done at
home on your very own CD burner. Commercial CD duplicators will perform verification
on your discs to make sure that they are 100% error free and completely
identical to your master.

** NEW MUSIC **
(June 13, 2025)
Neo-traditionalist Alex Miller is keeping the classic Country flame burning with
the Billy Jam Records’ release of “Secondhand Smoke” – STREAM /
BUY HERE.
Written by Alan Jackson and Jim McBride and released previously
by Jackson as an album track, the tune is a twangy tale of heartbreak on the
horizon.
(12
June 2025) Country artist,
storyteller, and creative force Ansel
Brown makes a powerful
return to music with his latest single, “The Whiskey Makes Her Miss Me”. Produced
by longtime collaborator Cliff Downs, the track kicks off Brown’s next
chapter with the drive, edge, and emotional punch that define his long-awaited
new album, Gravity, arriving Fall 2025. The song is available for
pre-save here.
Written by Jesse Labelle, Rob Crosby, Liz Hengber, and Ian Flannigan,
“The Whiskey Makes Her Miss Me” is a mid-tempo track that leans into the
push-pull of love that lingers — the kind that shows up after midnight, runs on
memory, and fades with the sunrise.“I chose to record ‘The Whiskey Makes
Her Miss Me’ because it’s real country storytelling — about how a heart never
truly let’s go,” says
Brown. “It’s not just about drinking. It’s about remembering, about feeling,
about still believing there’s a chance to be missed—even when the miles, or the
mistakes, get in the way.”
“When I first heard it, it felt like it
already knew my story,” he
adds. “It’s a song for anyone who’s been loved, been left, and still
believes that sometimes, love finds its way back — even if just for a night.”
(12
June 2025) Barefoot Joe’s new single “The
One That Got Away,” doesn’t beg for attention — it earns it with
something more lasting: emotional precision. WATCH the VIDEO HERE Wrapped in smooth guitar work and an
effortlessly melodic structure, the song delivers a familiar story without
feeling recycled. Instead, it feels personal, grounded, and just vulnerable
enough to leave a mark.
There’s a lived-in quality to the
lyrics. “Taking her for granted, the best girl on the planet, was my
greatest mistake” hits like something pulled from a real conversation, not
a writing room whiteboard. The chorus follows with “I know I’ll never find
another love like that; up the creek without a paddle, ain’t no getting her
back,” but there’s no big emotional breakdown — just resignation, framed
with a half-smile and a rhythm that keeps moving forward.
The strength of the track lies in
its restraint. There are no dramatic crescendos or theatrical flourishes. The
emotion simmers beneath the surface, and that subtle tension is what makes it
stick. Joe leans into regret without ever losing the laid-back tone that draws
listeners in. He’s not preaching, and he’s not asking for sympathy. He’s just
owning it — and there’s something

(13
June 2025) After rounding up colossal collabs with culture's most influential
forces – multiple GRAMMY® nominations and mega co-writes on Cowboy
Carter (“TEXAS HOLD 'EM,” “16 CARRIAGES”) and Kendrick Lamar's seismic GNX (No.
1 smash “luther” and more) – Ink marks her second release via
Big Loud Records / Electric Feel Records with line-dancing groove “Hoedown.” This
alongside the recent release of anthemic “Turquoise Cowboy” led Rolling
Stone to proclaim: “Ink is ready to shine on her own.”
The
dancefloor-destined “Hoedown” is directly derived from her love of rock and
roll and came together spontaneously thanks to the creative process she's
dubbed the “Ink style.” “I knew it was a hit, because we couldn't stop dancing.
Even the neighbors kept knocking on the door,” she shares. Ink describes
the song as, “A good way to introduce me to the world. I like to dance, I like
to get the party going, I like to keep the energy up.”
According
to The Tennessean, “Hoedown” feels like “amber-preserved pieces of
countrified, mid-1970s soul.” Continuing, “she's releasing country music that
plays best at the edge of bluesy R&B and funky hip-hop with country's
swampiest rock edge.”
(13

His Word.”
The
debut follows the drop of his lauded collaboration “Broken Wing Bird
(feat. Sierra Ferrell)” (LISTEN HERE). The new song
has been called a “Song You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone,
while GRAMMY.com praises, “the two stars' voices harmonize
gorgeously.” MusicRow adds “This acoustic waltz strums along
on the simple strengths of gut-string guitar and their two compelling
voices;” Holler calls the new track “a masterwork” and
“intoxicating collaboration… poised to launch him high into the ranks of
country music's most thrilling artists to watch.” “I've always loved the sound of
classic country. It brings me peace whenever I hear it,” shares 2025 GRAMMY.com Artist
to Watch Culpepper. “I wanted to write a song that replicated that
feeling. And the same feelings I got when I would listen to all those old
Willie Nelson songs. Something about those tunes made me feel like I was on a
back porch late afternoon drinking sweet tea or something. And having Sierra
Ferrell on this song makes it even better for me.”
On “Broken Wing Bird” Culpepper
and Ferrell's distinctly different voices weave together on the gorgeous ode to
a delicate but fraught love. The sublimely powerful song was written by
Culpepper and producer Brian Elmquist and recorded in Muscle Shoals. Earlier
this week, on Wednesday, the Billboard Country Rookie debuted
the song on the hallowed Grand Ole Opry stage.

freeing moment when you surrender control to trust the journey.
“’God Knows Where’ was given to me last summer and the first time I heard the
demo, it just got me,” says McMeen. “It resonated so deeply with what I was
going through, especially while moving to Nashville to chase my dream. While McMeen didn’t write the track, the song’s message felt like a mirror to
her own life. “It’s for anyone who’s ever felt like they're the only one
without a plan,” she notes. “This song allowed me to be creative and tell the
real story behind what’s been keeping me going: God. My journey is just getting
started and this song shows that.”
Written by Emily Ann Roberts and Billy Aerts, the track holds even more
significance for McMeen. “Emily Ann Roberts is one of my favorite artists, so

Rising country-folk artist Peech. bares his soul on his most vulnerable
release yet: “Be Together,” out now via TAMLA/CCMG.
Stripped-back and emotionally raw, the new single captures the ache of a love
that slipped away—and the dream of what might still be.
LISTEN TO “BE TOGETHER” HERE. Fresh off a standout performance
on the MCA Skydeck during CMA Fest, Peech. returns with a track that leans into
acoustic simplicity and lyrical depth. Opening with the vivid line “Barefoot
on old dirt roads,” “Be Together” sets a nostalgic, small-town tone
and unfolds into a confessional story of missed chances, accountability, and
fragile hope.
“I may not be a man that you
ever want to see again / I hope you know I'll take the blame,” Peech.
sings—delivering a gut-punch of honesty that defines the track. Rooted in the
emotional storytelling of Zach Bryan and early Jason Isbell, Peech.'s
unpolished, soul-soaked voice cuts through with rare sincerity. The result is a
song that feels lived-in, honest, and heartbreakingly relatable.
“'Be Together' is about
wondering what could have been,” says Peech. “It's for anyone
who's ever looked back and thought, 'If only we had one more shot.'”
