Van Morrison - Remembering Now

(9 July 2025) LONDON, U.K.  – Rising Canadian singer, songwriter and musician Noeline Hofmann brought her massively successful UK and Ireland tour supporting Zach Bryan and Turnpike Troubadours to a memorable close with her debut London headline show at The Lexington last week (July 1).
Speaking to the crowd, Hofmann shared,
“I’m so excited to be playing here tonight - such an iconic spot and I just love it. We have had the most amazing two weeks. It’s been totally life changing and everything that dreams are made of - it’s been so heartwarming. Our families and friends travelled overseas to come see us and support us. I got to play with some of my favourite bands in the world and hang out and just have a great time. They’ve become my friends and so it’s just been meaningful on so many different levels.”

Midway through Hofmann’s electrifying set, the crowd was treated to a special surprise as she invited her close friend and collaborator Zach Bryan to join her on stage for a poignant duet of their song ‘Purple Gas’ - available to view on Holler’s Instagram here. Hofmann shared that Bryan “totally changed my life” and that he is “one of the greatest songwriters of our time.” Bryan returned the compliment and told the audience that “‘Purple Gas’ is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.”
Blending tracks from her debut EP Purple Gas (released last October via La Honda Records) and unreleased material, Hofmann delivered a performance that left a mark, and prompted Holler editor Ross Jones to declare, “goosebumps - it’s a show of the year contender.”
Hofmann’s UK and Ireland run of shows saw her performing to massive crowds at two iconic venues - Phoenix Park in Dublin and BST Hyde Park in London, as well as visiting cities such as Manchester and Birmingham with Turnpike Troubadours.

Set to perform to 320,000 fans in five concerts in their home city of Manchester over the next nine days as part of their Live ’25 Reunion Tour, Oasis continued to enjoy spectacular growth week-on-week, and occupy three of the top four positions in the album chart for only the second time in their career.
Returning to No.1 for the first time since it debuted there 786 weeks ago – a little over 15 years – the band’s career-encompassing compilation Time Flies: 1994-2009 saw a 184.72% surge in consumption to 21,015 units (406 CDs, 285 vinyl albums, 262 digital downloads and 20,062 sales-equivalent streams).
Their second and most successful studio album, 1995’s (What’s The Story) Morning Glory – which spent 10 weeks at No.1 in 1995/1996 – achieved its highest chart placing in more than 29 years, exploding 14-2, with consumption up 197.47% at 15,733 units; while 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, catapulted 26-4 (11,421 sales) on a gain of 177.95%. Oasis’ 1998 compilation The Masterplan (No.59, 2,411 sales) re-enters the Top 75 after an absence of 44 weeks.

Morgan Wallen’s with I’M THE PROBLEM fell 44-45 in the albums eighth frame.

UK Singles
As if by design, Dior tooks advantage of a weakening singles sector to advance to No.1 for MK feat. Chrystal.
In the closest battle for chart honours for a while, the track overpowered Manchild (3-2, 38,478 sales), which threatened to rise to the top for a third time for Sabrina Carpenter.
Dior is only the second hit for featured vocalist 36-year-old singer/songwriter Chrystal - originally from Bolton – whose introductory hit, The Days, peaked at No.4 in January and dips 41-47 (9,101 sales) on its 39th straight week in the chart.

Alex Warren feat. Jelly Roll Bloodline” fell 24-30.
Morgan Wallen ft Tate McRae with “What I Want” slipped 53-54 in their eighth week.
In his 64th chart frame Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) fell 57-65.

Billboard 200 News
Morgan Wallen’s I’M THE PROBLEM has spent its first two months on the Billboard 200 at No.1 as the set holds atop the chart dated July 19, earning 151,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending July 10 (down 12%). The album opened at No. 1 on the May 31 chart.
Cumulatively, Wallen’s three No. 1 albums (I’m the Problem, One Thing at a Time and Dangerous: The Double Album) have spent a total of 37 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That sum ties him with Harry Belafonte and Drake for the fifth-most weeks at No. 1 among male artists in the history of the Billboard 200 (since it began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in March 1956).
Of I’m the Problem’s 151,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 10, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) units comprised 143,500 (down 12%, equaling 188.69 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs — it leads Top Streaming Albums for an eighth week), album sales comprised 6,500 (down 12% — it rises 11-5 on Top Album Sales) and track equivalent albums (TEA) units comprised 1,000 (down 23%).

Wallen’s former leader ONE THING AT A TIME climbed 6-3 (with 39,000 equivalent album units earned; down 2%) and his  chart-topping DANGEROUS: THE DOUBLE ALBUM ascended 11-6 (29,000; down 4%).

Toby Keith’s 35 BIGGEST HITS returned to the top 10, rallying 43-9 with 26,000 equivalent album units earned (up 56%) following streaming gains generated by Independence Day celebrations. The album, released in 2008, hit No. 1 on the Feb. 17, 2024-dated chart in the wake of Keith’s death that Feb. 5.

Billboard Hot 100 News
Alex Warren’sOrdinary” added a sixth week atop the Billboard Hot 100. The song has linked its lead consecutively, having become the singer-songwriter’s first No. 1 on the chart.

Morgan Wallen logged his 10th career week with at least three simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s, a mark that only five acts — and no core country artists — previously reached. His I’m the Problem, the parent set of all three of his current top 10 hits, scored an eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Wallen’s “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, retreated 2-3 on the Hot 100, after it debuted in May as Wallen’s fourth No. 1 and McRae’s first. It logged an eighth week at No.1 on the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart.
Wallen followed on the Hot 100 with the No. 2-peaking “Just in Case,” which slid 3-4, and “I’m the Problem,” which fell 5-8. He posted his 10th career week with at least three simultaneous top 10s and his eighth this year, as he continues scaling both leaderboards.

Shaboozey’sA Bar Song (Tipsy)” staggered 4-5 on the Hot 100, following its record-tying 19 weeks at No. 1 beginning last July.

Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart News
‘CASE’ STUDY: Morgan Wallen’s Just in Case” (Mercury/Republic/Big Loud) topped Country Airplay for a second week (32.8million, up 12%). Of the Sneedville, Tenn., native’s 18 No. 1s, it’s his 10th to lead for multiple weeks

Shaboozey notched his second top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart as “Good News” (American Dogwood/Empire/Magnolia Music) rode two spots to No.10 on the list dated July 19.
The song increased by 18% to 19.3 million audience impressions July 4-10, according to Luminate. Shaboozey co-wrote the song with Sean Cook, Michael Pollack, Sam Roman, Nevin Sastry and Jake Torrey. It’s from the artist’s album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, which arrived at its No.2 high on Top Country Albums and No. 5 on the all-genre Billboard 200 in June 2024; it has earned 1.8 million album-equivalent units in the United States through July 3.
Shaboozey’s rookie entry, the multigenre smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” dominated Country Airplay for seven weeks beginning last August. It surpassed Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel” (six weeks at No.1, 2006) as the longest-leading hit on the chart to establish a country career (counting acts’ first Country Airplay entries as a lead artist or their initial songs promoted to country radio).

“Cherry Valley means everything to me”
says Faith. “Every time I have slipped into a dark place (which I have a propensity for), this album has brought me out of it. The world of Cherry Valley has been a safe and freeing place for me and everyone who has worked so hard on this record. I have truly created this album with my best friends, which feels surreal. It feels like it belongs to all of us, because it does.”
The songs on Cherry Valley span Carter’s journey from her North Carolina hometown to Nashville, with all the heartbreak, triumph and hazy nights in between. Carter and longtime producer Tofer Brown spent two years crafting tracks for the album before finally entering the studio in 2024 to lay it down. All the while, Carter was working relentlessly to climb the ranks of country music, signing to MCA and Universal Music Publishing Group, gracing the Opry stage a dozen times, sharing stages with idols like Willie Nelson, and racking up hundreds of millions of streams.

We're just trying our best, and trying to do it all.
