COUNTRY GOSSIP
(19 July 2018) Carly Pearce and Michael Ray have confirmed
that they are dating.
The singers both turned to Instagram
on Wednesday night (July 18) to share a picture of them snuggled up together on
a sofa backstage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, laughing, making it clear
they are a couple.
They apparently met at the Nashville Palace one night.
"And then one random night at the Nashville
Palace changed everything," Carly Pearce writes
to accompany the photo, adding a heart emoji.
The news comes on the heels of fan speculation that
the two rising stars might be an item, since they've been flirting openly
online recently
“When it comes time to talk about the dating life, it
will come out,” he told assembled reporters (quote via One Country). “She’s a
great girl and I think that she’s an incredible person. Right now everything on
both ends are about both our singles and both our music, and it’ll come out.
She’s great, I’m a big fan. I’ll leave it at that.”
If things don't work out for NRA's Artist of the Month
(August 2017) Carly will be the "One That Got Away".
Carly may want to "Hide the Wine" as Ray was
>> arrested at a McDonald's drive-thru on
Dec. 20, on charges of DUI and drug possession. Ray released a Statement
after his arrest: “I want to apologize to my fans, family, and my hometown
community for placing myself in this situation,” said Michael. “I am so very
sorry for the disappointment these events have caused everyone. I know it will
take time, however, I will do everything I can to rebuild your trust.”
According to the police report, the 2012 Jeep Wrangler
that Michael was driving bumped the car in front of him in the McDonald’s
drive-thru around 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 20 in Eustis, Fla. The “Kiss You in the
Morning” singer failed several sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer test.
Cops also found marijuana oil in Michael’s pocket.
(21 July 2018) Taylor Swift’s love of all things British
now extends to its native accent.
“The Look What You Made Me Do” hitmaker Taylor Swift began dating London-born actor Joe Alwyn in October 2016, just a few months after she had a highly
publicised fling with The Avengers star Tom Hiddleston.
And according to editors at Heat magazine, the
Reputation star has cultivated a love of all things British such as fish and
chips, afternoon tea in the capital, and the English accent too.
“Taylor has always been an Anglophile, but
lately it’s gone up a notch and she speaks in a British accent a lot of the
time,” an insider told the publication. “She’s also begun drinking tea,
watching football, and she’s obsessed with the royal family.”
The couple’s relationship has gone from strength to
strength with the Bad Blood singer recently pictured strolling hand in hand on
the beach with the 27-year-old Brit as they holidayed in the paradise isle
Turks and Caicos.
Taylor, 28, and Joe looked relaxed, and she stared
adoringly at her man amid reports that she and the film star, who will soon be
seen in movie Mary Queen of Scots, are thinking of marriage.
“She’s down with buying a place in London and is even
looking into dual citizenship,” added the source. “The word among friends is
that it’s only a matter of time and they could even elope over the summer.”
The singer, who Forbes estimate is worth $280 million,
has an extensive portfolio of real estate in the U.S. including apartments in
New York, homes in Nashville, an oceanfront mansion in Rhode Island, and the
historic Samuel Goldwyn estate in Beverly Hills.
