Is Three Lions is coming home? Football anthem could return to Number 1
The Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds track first reached Number 1 on the Official Chart 22 years ago.
As England prepares to contest the semi-final of the World Cup this Wednesday, OfficialCharts.com confirmed that the song on everybody’s lips, Three Lions, was leading the race to top the Official Chart this Friday.
England’s definitive football anthem, performed by Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds, zoomed from 24 to Number 1 at the halfway stage on today’s Official Chart Update and, according to Official Charts Company data, had accumulated 24,000 downloads and 2.6 million audio streams since last Friday.
Three Lions was originally written for Euro '96 – the last time England qualified for the semi-finals of a major football tournament - and hit the Number 1 spot twice. A re-worked version of the song with new lyrics for the 1998 World Cup, Three Lions '98, also spent three weeks at the summit.
The song is one of the UK's best-selling singles of all time, with both versions combined having sold 1.6 million.

Football may not have come home this week, but at least something did. Three Lions was not only Number 1 on this week’s Official Chart, but it set a new all-time record too, the Official Charts Company can confirm.
The Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds track returned to the top spot 22 years after it first hit Number 1 with an impressive 80,000 combined sales this week, made up of 43,000 sales, 6.8m audio streams and 5.2m video streams.
Following a dramatic week of hope and heartbreak for English football fans, the welcome news was revealed on air by new BBC Radio 1 Official Chart host Scott Mills. It’s the first time in the Official Chart’s 66-year history that a song has scored four spells at Number 1 with the same artist line-up; the original 1996 version had two one-week stints in 1996, while the 1998 re-work had one three-week spell at the top. England’s recent run of form in the 2018 World Cup has propelled it to a record-breaking fourth outing at the top.
David Baddiel said: "Well, this is awkward," while Frank Skinner added: "I must say, as consolation prizes go..."
BBC Radio 1 Official Chart host Scott Mills concludes: "England gave us everything at this World Cup. The whole country got swept away with it, and Three Lions being the Official Number 1 shows how we really got behind our amazing team."

Drake with SCORPION continued to sting The Greatest Showman’s chances of equaling the 21st century record of 23 weeks at No.1, as set by Adele’s 21.
The Greatest Showman was pushed down to No.3 last week, and was unable to register its 22nd week at the summit, as Scorpion – which dethroned it last term – became the only other album to spend even two consecutive weeks at No.1 this year, remaining in pole position on sales of 29,630 copies, of which a massive 89.80% (26,609) were from sales-equivalent streams. Although Scorpion wasn’t officially released on CD until Friday (July 13), there was some low-level leakage ahead of the date, with its latest paid-for sales of 3,021 including a contribution of 323 from the format. On the overall paid-for sales chart, Scorpion dips 1-7.
Kylie Minogue with GOLDEN fell 73-83 (1,000 estimated units) in her 14th chart frame.

Home Town: Owensboro, KY | Cliff Westfall is a NYC-area musician known for his clever, literate take on classic country songwriting and killer live performances. He writes songs about heartache, loss, addiction… you know, funny songs. Or he can turn on a dime and dive headlong into a sentimental weeper.
On "Baby You Win," Westfall brings his Kentucky roots to a very urban New York world, opening up the old country sounds to a much wider vision of Americana.
New York City/Kentucky roots musician Cliff Westfall’s new release Baby You Win is a solid honky tonk based old style country collection.  Produced by Bryce Goggin (The Ramones, Pavement, Phish) in New York City, this album is country music with a twist.  Featuring Charlie Giordano (the E Street Band) on keyboards, Scott Metzger (Phil Lesh) and Graham Norwood on guitars and Dan Iead (Norah Jones) on pedal steel backing Westfall’s vocals,  the collection of songs is honkytonk impulses underpinning complex guitar skills and wry lyrics. (10 July 2018) Lisa Moen - "Country Girls Rock and Roll"

Saskatoon country singer/songwriter Lisa Moen releases brand new single "Country Girls Rock and Roll" July 9, 2018 (UK iTunes) to radio/online stores/music VIDEO on YouTube and social media.  Written by Lisa and her bandmate, Garth Howell, from the writing, recording, producing/mastering, and promo pics to the music video...it is 100% Sask made content. This vocal-powerhouse tune, in addition to screamin' rock style guitar riffs and an exciting element of country banjo, was recorded and produced by Jesse Weiman and mastered by Trevor Case in Saskatoon SK.
The music video was filmed by Saskatoon's own Nolita Studios. It features stunning shots of authentic Saskatchewan imagery, including a beautiful farm location north of Martensville SK with a 1912 barn (where the barn loft party scene was shot with a crowd enjoying the country rock show)! From the beautiful prairie farm perspective, to the rock and roll flavour of muscle cars and electric guitars, this video illustrates a true "summer anthem" feel and a song to sing along to.
Moen, winner of the "2018 Country Music Person Of the Year Award" at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, is fresh off the stage from the Eagles' tailgate party in Regina, and gearing up for 4 shows at Country Thunder in Craven SK.  She had previous success with original releases (Silly Boys Trucks Are For Girls, Testdrive, Before Sundown, All I Ask Of You) and has a jam-packed summer with shows booked for festivals, jamborees, fairs and cabarets with her country rock band (Garth Howell on guitar, Myles Myrol on bass, and Damon Tupper on drums).

UK country artiste Jeannine Barry poses in Ariat Dusty Diamond “Tawny” Womens Western Boot (Product; £209.99).

They are stunning boots for use in many occasions and are made with quality full grain leather and Ariat 4LR technology.

Sarah Darling performed at the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park concert wearing a CuteCircuit Haute Couture design.
The “Dream Country” songstress added silver and grey CuteCircuit’s innovative and eye-catching Sparkle Booties (£600.00 in 2015). A fierce stiletto heel ankle boot, the Sparkle Booties are made out of Italian leather and reflective micro-perforated fabric. Due to the crucial presence of the thousands of glass microspheres that coat the fabric of the boot, the Sparkle Booties enhance the visibility of the wearer to the human eye.
The fiercely reflective product has a 10 centimetre high stiletto with a silver leather toecap & heel in addition to ankle detail. Upon closer inspection, one can also notice a bright pink leather lining on the Sparkle Booties as well. Fascinatingly, the shoes illuminate when struck by a direct light.

Called " Cute Circuit " it's a dress that becomes the interface of the wearer >> Instagram Video.

Francesca Rossella, a fashion expert and Ryan Genz, specialized in design and anthropology, for the actress Nieves Alvarez. It is a dress that communicates with social networks: thanks to a connected Twitter account, the messages interact with the LEDs and the dress becomes a screen. It was exhibited for the first time in Turin at "Dreamers "

CuteCircuit Haute Couture designs might be magical, but the company has not had an easy ride to success.
Although the business (One West India Quay 26 Hertsmere Road, Apt. 3104 E14 4EG London) first made a profit in 2006, the cost of such innovative experimentation saw it spend many more years in the red.
Only in recent years have profits soared, rocketing company finances from around -£50k in 2015 to £160k in the black in 2017 - a success that last year prompted CuteCircuit to move from its modest Shoreditch offices in trendy east London to a new three-floor space in the city’s financial hub, Canary Wharf.
The fashion world just wasn’t ready when CuteCircuit first launched, Rosella says. But recent brand collaborations with Chanel and Converse show the market’s ripening.
In January 2018 alone, the company sold more than one hundred light-up Mirror Handbags for £1,600 (over $2,200) each. These display messages and Tweets from your smartphone.
Also, currently available in CuteCircuit’s online shop is a delicately hand-pleated silk chiffon dress (Katy Perry wore to the MET Gala in New York.) with hundreds of rechargeable Micro-LEDs costing £2,500 ($3,500).
